Fundamentally, Salesforce is a CRM. When correctly architected and implemented, it has the capability to transform the way that your business tracks customer interactions and oppotunities across sales, marketing, customer care and more.
But Salesforce is more than just a CRM. Countless cloud-based software applications and mobile apps are built on underpinning Salesforce architecture. From accounting software to workforce schedulers, the capabilities of the platform are limitless if you are seeking a secure and scalable foundation on which to build your technology solution.
As experts in Salesforce administration and design, we are able to ensure that your architecture and design is set up for success - now and in the future.
Our background in sales and bid means that we understand the need to capture rich insight across the end-to-end sales process in order to maximise your win rate. We will work with you to create a Salesforce environment that is optimised for your business - removing objects and fields that are not adding value, whilst ensuring that objects, fields and workflow steps that are required to inform business decisions are included and either mandated or validated where applicable.
We are passionate about automation and will work with you to understand where automated workflows will drive further value or efficiencies into your process. This will either harness Salesforce's own inbuilt process automation or through custom code, written in Apex, to create a truly bespoke solution.
Every decision we make will be informed by the need to produce robust and insightful reports and dashboards that will drive your business forward. This rigorous focus on data will inform the fields that are included, mandated and validated. Furthermore, we will design dashboards and reports in Salesforce that meet your needs - and we can integrate the data into third party visualisation tools such as Tableau if desired.
We are committed to building solutions that underpin the success of your business or organisation. We are happy to work with you to understand the benefits of using Salesforce as an underpinning architecture and to explore the potential that the platform offers you.
We will then draw on our experience in Salesforce design and architecture to create a detailed proposal of how the product will be built. The Salesforce design principles are a blend of "drag and drop" pre-built components and bespoke code written in Apex (a proprietary Saleforce language). We will work with you to design a product that harnesses the best of both worlds where applicable to meet your current and future needs.
Our approach includes multiple touchpoints to enable the co-design of your product. We will also include prototypes when applicable to enable your users to inform changes that are required to the overall experience. And, of course, we will include an enhanced user acceptance testing (UAT) period to maximise the successful launch of your new product.
We worked with a large outsourcing company that comprised multiple legal entities, working collaboratively on large-scale projects under the ownership of their parent company. Whilst the large opportunities were attractive to the parent company, the individual subsidiaries were often hesitant to commit significant resource on clients that typically offered a significantly lower profit margin than their smaller, local customers.
Whilst some parts of the business had direct access to the central Salesforce environment, other parts of the businesses didn't have licences. This means that they were unable to see or update opportunities that they had been asked to participate in.
The entire business used Google as their technology platform for emails, calendars and documents/spreadsheets etc. Because the Google ecosystem was familiar to all stakeholders in the business, we were asked to create a way that users could harness Google to view and update pertinent details.
Our solution included an opportunity notification, which was automatically sent by Salesforce to all legal entities that were in scope of the opportunity. This initial notification included a link to a simple Google form (pre-populated with the company details) that enabled the users to confirm whether the business line was able to support the overarching bid. This Google form then posted the response back to the Salesforce opportunity record, where the decision was automatically updated in real time through custom Apex code.
The central team was therefore able to track the subsidiaries that were able to support the delivery model and ensure that the total client requirements were collectively covered.
A further email, again linked to a bespoke Google form and fully integrated back into the Salesforce opportunity record, gave each legal entity the opportunity to shape the solution in terms of pricing and approach.
This custom-built integration between Salesforce and Google forms enabled the business to realise efficiencies and create an engaged and joined up collaboration of specialist business lines. The business experienced unprecented growth through this period as it was able to truly harness the strength of its specialist businesses - and the separate subsidiaries felt empowered in the decision making of the parent company, which incentivised high engagement in strategic company-wide clients.
Every requirement is different and it is impossible to give detailed insights into pricing without a specification.
